Far better than ANYBODY I've ever heard (and I heard the greatest ones, but you are among them if not better!)

Mr Barton is to be thanked for his series of Bach videos. You can see the score and his hands, and hear how the score is turned into music. Bravo. However, one must say the tempo is too fast, the playing too mechanical and the mood joyless. Try viewing this at 0.75 speed and the music is transformed. It would be even better if Mr Burton can play it more slowly and allow more nuances to emerge. One commentator couldn't believe that this was music to be danced to. Although this is instrumental music, it should still preserve the feel (groove in modern speech) of dance music. Piano students would be pleased to hear that this music sounds more interesting and authentic if played at a tempo slower than what your teacher presribes and demands.
